On Friday, September 29th, students and staff will participate in "Orange Shirt Day" at Dr. Hanna School.
Orange Shirt Day takes place across the country where people from all walks of life wear orange shirts to remember the experiences of former students of Indian Residential Schools. The purpose is commit to ongoing reconciliation.
We have school wide and classroom activities taking place. Please talk with your children about the importance of this day and what they have learned from this experience.
