Bring your best SMILE!

Picture Day at Dr. Hanna School will October 6th.  Bring your best SMILE!

Orange Shirt Day

September 30th, 2015 is Orange Shirt Daya at Dr. LM Hanna School.  Orange Shirt Day is intended to bring awareness to the harmful effects that the residential school system did to many children’s sense of self-esteem and wellbeing, and it is an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that everyone around us matters.

Staff, students and families are encouraged to wear Orange Shirts in our effort on September 30th!

We will be honoured and priviledged to have Bevan Fox join us for this day to speak with us about her personal experiences of the residential school system.

Open House/Welcome Back BBQ

Parents, guardians and students are  invited to Dr. LM Hanna's Open House and Welcome Back BBQ on Tuesday, September 15th.  Supper is 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with the classrooms open for visiting from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Come grab a hot dog or hamburger and juice for $2.00 and meet your child's teacher and see their classroom!  Chips/cheezies will also be available for $1.00 each.  We look forward to a great turnout!
